My first project- A glass.

Post by me1 » Wed Nov 15, 2006 10:26 am

Hi, this is my first project with indigo. It is a glass of cranberry juice, because I made the color to bright and didn't want to mess with this project more. :P

No offense, but it looks like your pouring cement into the glass... not enough flow...

Maybe increase the fluid rez or the domain size?

increasing the domain size reduces the resolution. And i didn't want to use half a gig or more for a fluid sim by turning it up 10-15 more.

EDIT: wait, i could just only have it render up to when I need it, i don't need 250 frames... only 70... me feels dumb

When you lower the total number of frames remember to adjust the fluid sim. end time. Lower it since your lowering the number of frames.
Around 0.084 if you take it from 250 to 70 frames and the starting end time as being 0.30

P.S.
Increasing the domain size has nothing to do with the resolution. It will give the effect making the same sized fluid smaller (mess with it you'll find out fast).
