Hmm..now that is strange indeed.
What if some person finds it amusing to upload some regular porn to the "best of" gallery?
Ben, I think you need to take some action here? Don't forget, that Indigo is commercial now.

I wouldnt mind some porn, will make the gallery more atractive, i mean some easter eggs together with the 3D renderings would rock :D
But seriusly, i find this kinda wierd to, a best of gallery should be made by the admins.

Agreed and agreed.

All renders should be approved by them (Or a group of members.. called... THE GALLERY TEAM :o ) before they are accepted into the gallery.

And the "best of" section should be chosen by the same group of people.

Interesting post! Great image: agree with Wyt about the early morning feeling. VEEEERY nice and moody! Congratulations!

What is your modeler? What is your most complicated material? Or the one over which you spent most of the time? Could you share some wireframes? Which machine are you cooking this bad boy?

Sorry: granade of questions but I'm too curious!

:? Well you seem pretty curious :)

Modeler- Blender 2.49
Complicated material- Probably a floor texture :P I don't spend very much time on materials.
Machine: Intel Quad core Q6700 @ 3.5 Ghz, 2 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3 RAM, and a 790i Motherboard (Im pretty sure those are the only components involved with rendering?)

EDIT.

Here are some wires:

Thank you Godzilla!

...but sorry: did I bother you with all those questions? I'M SO SORRY!!!
I just try to learn everytime something more: we always have something to learn from the others, I think.

..only curiosity left: which size did you render the image?

Again: congratulations!

No it's no big deal I was just kidding. :)
