Mazda CX 7

Had this project "sitting in drawer" for some time now and decided its final time to finish it x)

Modeled in Blender and some post pro in photoshop

the carpaint looks a bit like plastic.

apart from that: nice job! love the dirt :D

Actually they are made more and more of plastic. :o

I love the dirt on the car. How do you paint the mud on? Do you do it on a flat texture or straight onto the 3d surface?

Painted on flat texture, from real mud "texture" pics with lot of smudge and clone tool x)

The effect is great, very nice job !

Next time you could try to just paint a mask map and blend the carpaint material with the dirt material, less hassle wouldn't it ?

and maybe less perfection O.o
You might want to upload that mud-material into the mat-dB :D
