Done this as a side project, I realise there's a few bits could be worked on but i'm happy over all.

+1, the car is insane but so is the environment, which is usually something that is neglected in car scenes.

what's with the neon looking rings around the headlights?

That's amazing!
I only see two things, which could be tweaked: the head-lights, looking like neon and the more visible seat inside the car, looking somewhat lowpoly... (or do they actually have that shape?)
And even those two are only with lots of pickiness

Thanks very much guys, headlamp lights are wrong, ground bump is wrong , tyres need another 7 or 8 hours, my system couldnt handle another level of sub d on the seats and couldnnt get the bonnet/roof right, but it is my best render so far.
