Post by Rafaello » Wed Nov 12, 2008 10:32 am

Hi, I left a couple of images just to sit and chat with friends and family ( and maybe a cup of coffe or two) :D

Very good.
That rug is amazing, yet somewhat odd.

Very nice renderings. Are the rugs made using instanced meshes placed with a particle system ? Looks very good in any case!

Thanks guys, For the rug I made a 50cm by 50 cm patch with DPIT nature spirit grass engine with a plane underneath and then made instances of it.

If you want, I can post the c4d Scene so you can modify it to your needs or make other patches with different sizes of the Hair/grass.

Here I left you another render.

Thanks matsta, I modeled the tank with MOI was fun and easy, the falling water was made with realflow (not so fun and easy :P ) the water is just transparent specular because water material is too blue for me.

Saludos.

well, it's not finished yet but is an advance of the fish tank, to much of transparent-specular material and therefore too much noise even after 17 hours in the core2 quad :(

I will try to remove the noise after a 7 or 8 more hours in the oven
