mmm, looks fine, but, what it is supposed to be? and IMHO you should subsurf the "plate" and maybe give a little thickness to the semisphere in the middle

is it solid? it looks like if you added a sphere, scaled it down in Z axis and just cuted off the top of it... i mean, the red thing...
