This is my attempt to create another Rubiks Cube Render.
Originally made with Maya 2008 to render with mia_material_x in mental ray, I've converted the the materials to render it with indigo 1.1.11.

I also tried to optimize the render settings, although I'm pretty new to indigo (for Maya)
Render time: 7h / 264 Samples Per Pixel an AMD X2 3800+.

Well done :)
I like the rotation-irregularity :)
Just, as SmartDen said, let it bake longer :)

Oh, the floor and the white tiles... are they pure 1 1 1 white?
Avoid that!
Use ~0.8 0.8 0.8, instead (that's also roughly the brightness of white paper.)

The brightness is around 0.9.
I know I should let indigo run longer, but I the moment I don't have the time to run it for additional 7 hours. But there's also another thing I plan: rigging the cube. But I'm not sure how to do it, yet. I guess I'll have to use a MEL script.

Oh, and before I forget: I'm also trying to optimize the render settings further to get an smooth image even at only 7 hours. I'm trying to beat my commercial fryrender. Beating Maxwell with Indigo is no problem, because Maxwell is pretty slow. Fry is ways faster than Maxwell, but I think I can also beat Fryrender with Indigo :)

Ok, here's a version I've ran a bit longer.
Tonemapping was done in Violet (also some abberation), some additional noise reduction was also done in Violet and PS.
