Well done! But imho a bit over burned...is it intentional?

Thanks for sharing, R.

Nice one. I see you fixed a lot of things. I see some burning happening but it doesn't bother me too much. Keen to see the rest of the images.

looks cool man!

id render twice as big and resample, though, looks like a sliiightly out-of-focus photo, but thats just my preference (i like razor sharp photos and nice edges).

the burn is quite distracting, youre losing a hell of a lot of detail in the highlights and even as a point of interest it is just a burned blob on a part of the blanket, follow? id try to illuminate more of the bed without the burn so the whole bed reads clearer.

throw the other ones up once youre done!

One thing I forgot: Why not try the shift lens?

Also try applying aperture diffraction as a post process, it should get rid of the last remaining noise.

Is aperture diffraction possible afterwards? Still got the *.igi though.
Same for tonemapping. Wasn't at home when this rendered so I'm a bit 'surprised' with the outcome of the burn, I even lowered tonemapping values before I started rendering, but as Violet isn't working with 1.1.5 *.igi's i got no idea what to do. Editing the *.igs and resume rendering or what?

Well in this case aperture diffraction has already been applied during the render. So you can't undo it without re-rendering.

Wow, that is very nice. My only problem is with the light. its a bit too intense. If I was in that bed I'd feel like im on a really comfortable operating table.

Ditto to all of the above, and I also think you should turn down the bump on the headboard. I know it's an aspect of realism, but the material in the actual photo is much finer.

Otherwise, very nice :)
