Actually Indigo is just that fast on exteriors :).
Also, the Mac Pro seems to like Indigo a lot. I think it made friends with the software...

Oh you're one of those.... :lol: Just kidding. Yeah macs are usually better at this type of stuff.

Brilliant stuff! You have to start using Indigo displacement! It's really easy. Try setting your max subdivisions to 9 and then your displacement map 'gain' (b-value) to about 0.1 for starters. Then, keep tweaking the gain until you are satisfied with the depth of the displacement.

Here's a tip for quick tests: Just select the stone material and 'render selection only'.

Thanks Dale, for bringing displacement up.
I kind of got scared by its complexity when I tried it some time ago (I returned to Indigo 1.0.9 after my first tests).
But with your hints, I am definitely going to try it again.

I decided to make a large poster for my office room based on one of the renderings.

For that I will re-render the image at a 5000X... resolution.

Here's the poster design (Photoshop) I came up with:
What do you guys think? I want it to have vibrant highly saturated colors.

Looks good. I think the colors look good, just like you want them.

I wanted to update this thread with a little animation:

Unfortunately the DOF was not animated.
It should have shifted focal point between big car, RC car and RC itself, but the Skindigo plugin doesn't seem to support that.

Thanks Sayris and Suvakas .:D

@Suvakas:
Whaat told me that, since the 'focal point' isn't a Sketchup camera parameter, the DOF cannot be animated using Skindigo.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround to overcome this :cry: .
