Green, Elephant-sized Herbivore with Yellow Markings & S

Post by ryandaniels » Sat Mar 29, 2008 6:29 am

Well the title wouldn't fit; Green, Elephant-sized Herbivore with Yellow Markings & Short Horns. :lol: Anyway, the creature concept came from a 2d drawing done by the moderator TH89 on facepunchstudios.com, who did it for a contest for a Green, Elephant-sized etc. Anyway, I saw it, and decided to turn it into 3d.

It didn't turn out exactly as I wanted, but meh;

Lose the chrome material, and you've got a winner :)

Looks neat.

can you tell me how you made such beautiful trees and leaves and so on?
the right one looks real and the other 2 looking like alpha planes?!

ViennaLinux, if you look at the frames of the right tree's leaves, you'll notice a strange shadow... I'd say, all the leaves and plants, you see in this render, are alpha-mapped planes ;)
