Nice materials. A bit dark maybe.

Thanks. I was aiming for 'dark'. Indigo handled this really well, I feel.

Ah, this turned out nice! I agree, the darkness works great for this render, well done! Glad the wall behind the shelves is lightened, nice choice. Right lightbulp is somewhat bright, but that might be deliberate. The floor (with it's texture and reflections) looks cool! Did you use a bumpmap for the light-edges in the right look odd, not sure what that caused but think bump did, did you use spec-map?
Cool!

Thanks. That light bulb is indeed too bright. I wanted it brighter than the others, but I overdid it.
I used a bump map on the floor, yeah, but no spec map.
All in all, I'm quite happy with this render. Progress was made. Next one: an exterior. Should be fun to do.

I really like this, nice job.
It's renders like this that make me want to keep going on my own, thanks!

Thanks, lads. Yeah, this one was done using camera tonemapping, though I have only a very basic understanding of it. Trial and error!
The exterior might take some time: haven't modeled it yet.
