I prefer that shell with modeled details !

new turtle render, still no detailed shell, might do that soon.
enabled cauchy_b on drops, but you can't really tell..
used giant meshlight to light scene.

The beachbunnys
+ transparent water + drops + additionally this turtle, swimming with them o.O
but then, use sun or HDRi, no meshlight.
It's really soooo cute!

It is very cute, I love it !
I still wonder, though, how come we can see faces on the head if you turned normal smoothing on. Did you put an edgesplit modifier with a too big angle ?

I think, angle-based isn't too good in organic shapes!
You really should define the edges, that are to split!
(Ctrl+E -> Mark Sharp)
Then, you have alot more control over it.
Or didn't you use the Edgesplit modifier?

why should i even split the edges?
probably just not smooth enough...
which script in blender should i use to export/import my bunny from another file?

rendered again with no falling drops, and postpro bloom and rain effect. much better than previous render...
