Cliff House
Re: Cliff House
By the way...is anyone able to tell me what is that kind of "patern" in the glass and how get rid of it ? . Everytime i use the foreground alpha that artifact shows up in glass and reflective surfaces ,mainly in glass

Re: Cliff House
Technically quite good! Nice detailing and image composition overall.
A few things stick out to me:
That ?wood? material in the second shot isn't convincing. It should be a great material since it takes up so much of the scene.
If I desaturate your renders in PS, they look a lot better. That suggests to me that there are some issues with colour balance and/or saturation.
The weather is very cloudy and depressing. That might be the look you're going for, but the warm colour balance throws it off a bit, looks almost like a sunset. For HDRI skies I'd give these a try: http://www.viz-people.com/portfolio/free-hdri-maps/
Please take all this as constructive critisism.
Keep it up!

Re: Cliff House
Lal-O, I also prefer shot number 02 for the overall composition, although I think a little more room around the architectur wouldn't have hurt as well
Vegetation is wonderful and I do agree with Oscar: a more intriguing HDR would make emerge the building a tad more!

About the wood...yeah , my client already pointed that.
That is right, i love depressing mood in my renderings , for some reason my sunny renderings look less realistic than the sunny, gray or dark ones. I need to work so much more on them.
Constructive critisism is alwasy welcome , is the main reason to show our projects. But i must confess that this time it was kinda hard to see so much comments a bout what i should do to make a better looking images 'cus this time i tought they were perfect (of course ...perfection..beauty, etc etc...are relative concepts ) So no left to keep working.
Thaks for the comments Oscar J. They are really welcome
Re: Cliff House
Hahaha...I tought the same when i saw the project ...It was like " ...Mhhh...it seems Mies van der Rohe vibe is all over the place " .thesquirell wrote:I'm digging this Farnsworth vibe.
