Re: Office & bathroom
Nice to see another SketchUp user! Welcome!
Very nice tone, lighting and modelling! Looks great!
If I was being picky I'd suggest you find a better plant model for the bathroom, or at least a better texture for the leaves...

Re: Office & bathroom
A tad blown out IMO, but nice.

Re: Office & bathroom
Thank you guys for your great feedback
Maybe the pictures are a bit too shiny, but somehow I like the look. I believe just have a problem with darker rooms, even if it looks more realistic. I would also like to change the flower in the bathroom, but unfortunately I did not find any good flowers for sketchup. Any hint where to search?
Wish you a nice weekend!

Re: Office & bathroom
Hi Pixelflix! Wonderful work! Glad to have another skindigo user!
Materials are good, composition is good, lighting is also good for me (I like the overall feeling too): maybe try a little more contrast in postpro to get a subtle greater image "thickness" so increase a little the shadow parts, IMHO.
And my special congrats for the people you put in: they fit perfectly! Great work!
About plants and very complex models in general, I suggest you use the xrif option method. It keeps all the UVs of the external referenced objects and also the Sketchup file workable

Really nice work man !!! Keep going !!!

Re: Office & bathroom
Hi Zeiti,
Thank you so much for the links. These flowers are amazing. Been in holidays for a while now, but I will try to import them as soon as possible.
@ Pibuz: Thank you for mentioning the people
. Normally i hate to insert people into a picture because they never look realistic. First time it worked well and I am glad you like it. Didn´t hear about the xrif (xref?) method before but thanks a lot for the advice. Is there a link or something I can get further information?
@Lal-O: Thanks, I will try my best
Have a nice week,
Pixelflix

Re: Office & bathroom
You shall follow two main principles:
1. instancing and dummy system
2. xref linking
for the first topic, follow this
http://www.indigorenderer.com/documenta ... instancing
for the second topic, just model a component, enter it, right click and specify the path of your source "complex" model in you pc. Check source and dummy's axes and scales, it's crucial.
Sorry, I'm a little in a hurry!

Re: Office & bathroom
I would really like to work in that office.
And use the bathroom, if I had to.
Really cool renders, and what a great integration of people, nothing taken for granted in archviz!
