Funny how the lighting in your image looks more realistic than in the photo. :)

Me too! The photo, if that's what it is, looks like a heavily optimized biased render. I mean: that headboard ... :)

Now, it could be a photograph -who can tell these days? :)

Hi

Very often the furniture catalogs have images that can be mistaken for real while rendering facts very well. The bathroom furniture is almost always in 3D and in some cases has been used V-Ray. A 3D set has a modest cost compared to a real scene.

I could have sworn that image on the right was the rendered one, and the one on the left photo-reference. Dios mio, Jesus Christo! :D

The difference is obvious; in the right image appears in the background of the bed (in the enlargement) is not well done, however, the fabrics and lighting are to be state of the art.
The left image shows the side of the bed dimly lit and the mediocre tissues. The good workmanship of the fabrics in the right image suggests software like Arnold, V-Ray and other

Right side looks like a render too...
Hey sciontidesign why don't you make a thread for your renders? Like renders by sciontidesign...so we can see all of the progress in one place? Just an idea, great work by the way.

Hi scionti! I agree with Originalplan: although you might not update it frequently, would be great to have all your production in one thread, so we can shuffle through wonderousness with more simplicity :D

Product design photographs are very balanced, light-wise: the lighting must be uniform and a the same time not flat to enphasize the product, so it's really a hard and subtle work for specialists to get the right mood on it. If you want to replicate a photo you must understand if you're copyng:
1. the composition
2. the objects
3. the lighting
4. the materials
5. the PHOTO (which means all of them together)
Sometimes it turns out to be hard to find the exact models, so we're forced to make some furnishing decisions which may be unfortunate: personally, I find your night table to be more "heavy" than the original one; also, the velvet material on the bed head helps focusing the attention on the bed itself.

BTW it's a very good render overall! I simply wouldn't have compared it to the original image, not to stimulate picky pals like me  A little more work is due on the materials, according to me, that is all!
Thanks for the sharing!
