Some Rhetoric on the above Brick...
This kind of "war" paints where very popular in ww2 Japanese army same as with the US army.
But there is and was a major difference between art styles and meaning of the two.

The one is used is from ア・ベイシング・エイプ designed in 2004 / Harajuku.

UPDATE: > Thanks Oscar! ;) <

Yep that's strange but also understandable. Yokosuka has had a golden Sakura as the symbol of rebirth.
Very cool too. The "Shark" i think was a squadron thing....but i may be incorrect on this.
Good observation arc en ciel!

Had an idea a couple of days ago after seeing the new Yamaha / Dark side of Japan spot.
If you haven't seen them :
https://vimeo.com/189647147
https://vimeo.com/68292394

So i started working on a side project involving a bike..not sure if it will be something or not at this point. Just developing some look & feel for it. Maybe a small anim..will come from it sometime.

Anyways here are some half baked potato screens from it. :)
Just to bend the Bearbrick update patterns for a moment.
