Re: Scatter editor test: Forest
Wow! You attention to detail is really paying off here. Would love to see this in higher resolution.

No it's aperture diffraction effect in which I used two pictures, one as aperture and one for obstacle map. The only thing I did in post pro is a little increase with lens flare effect of Photoshop at 30%. Here's the raw render.

Wow, nice glare! I was so sure it was post-prod. You should do more of this nature stuff!
Oh, and the devs are usually helpful if you want something rendered clean and high-res. This render sure deserves it.

Re: Scatter editor test: Forest
Thank you again for your comments! I' ll put the scene if anyone cares to use it..! And one last thing. I noticed that if your camera faces directly the sun, the level of brightness decreases a lot. For example I put reinhard prescale at about 30. Don't know if this is a feature of Indigo, or a bug. here are the examples.Oscar J wrote:Wow, nice glare! I was so sure it was post-prod. Is there a mb upload limit? I am trying to upload my scene in skp 14 mb and zip 9.6 mb format and nothing happens...
Re: Scatter editor test: Forest
..never fiddled around with the Reinhard settings: I always found them not so user friendly compared to the standard camera settings. You should try! So many things will come to be more clear you'll see

Re: Scatter editor test: Forest
That darkening shouldn't happen with camera or linear tonemapping.
Re: Scatter editor test: Forest
because the Reinhard tonemappng will adapt the exposure in order to receive a constant energy, sort of. Other types have a more controllable output indeed.
