Villa Savoye

Post by |MM| » Wed Dec 07, 2011 10:31 am

I've had a bit of a break in using Indigo, I decided to get back to some of my work that I created for the modernism competition and do some exterior shots.
Here it is, I hope you like it.

Soft: Blender, PS

very nice,
there's only one thing - the metallic-like reflections on the walls seem strange. Or it's just me?

btw. I did some renders of this building, but never finished... Maybe Your work could be good inspiration to do it...

cheers

The grass is made with Blender hair particles, it's one patch with 3 different sub-materials.

I'm actually not so fond of the plaster texture, looks kinda repetitive to me..
The lighting and detailing is good, grass is all right

..maybe I'd tone it down a little in postpro, reducing a little the overall saturation.

Very nice! I like the uneven patches in the grass. That makes it very three dimensional.
I think the reflections in the glass are well done. Thanks for uploading!
