Ford Muscle Car 1970 - V1
Heya all,
after I played a bit with one of the models of Tomasz Rozkosz,
I was curious to render it with Indigo and what should I say, ...
I love the result. I'll tweak the materials a bit more and maybe
model some nice background ... ;o)
C&C are very welcome.
Scene Info:
-Indigo Version: 0.6.1
-Rendertime: 4h30m
-Lighting: HDRI only
-Rendermode: MLT
-Bidirectional: disabled
-Size: 1280x650
-Hostapp: 3dsmax8sp3
-Exporter: U3dreals M2I v0.6.1
System Spec: AMD64 3000@2,3Ghz / 2GB Ram
Note: In this picture is some post work, but no noise reduction.
PS.: Thanx again Nick for your awesome renderengine and thanx
Gregor for your amazing 3dsmax exporter. This would not be possible
without you! And thanx to all others who contribute to this comunity.
take care

@Kosmokrator
Well the Windows are no glass, because this model has no interior,
so I decided to go for some black plastic ... Yepp the slicks are not
convincing me too, but I had no more time to create a nice texture
for it.
Thanx for your feedback guys! ;o)
Note: Unfortunately it is not allowed to alter the model so I can't
do anything to make more detail or the interior ... sorry.

Heya Petr04,
I'll provide the material, but I have to say it's nothing special about it,
it's just a phong + HDRI. But for this car it was enough ... hehe.
It will be interesting to see the new shader stuff Nick is planing.
Then we can do pretty cool things, like carpaint and what not. ;o)
Note: If you wanna fake a carpaint you could use a trick, copy the
body of the car, scale it just a bit bigger and give it thickness.
Then assign a dielectric material and have fun with a nice carshader
and long rendertimes.

Code: Select all
<material>
<name>car_paint</name>
<phong>
<diffuse>0.486275 0.0313726 0.0313726</diffuse>
<specular>0.1 0.1 0.1</specular>
<exponent>25000</exponent>
<fresnel_scale>1.0</fresnel_scale>
</phong>
</material>
