Light layer animation

Nice, what did you use to do the animation? (programs/technique)?

I always like the flourescent flicker :D

I saved different pictures with the different lightlayers active (one at a time) and blended them with the animation function of photoshop.

I use this method too :)

Nice animations, but I'd suggest using more tween frames.

This thread is not too old to be revived :lol:

So how does this animation function in Photoshop work ?

I am asking because I don't have photoshop and would have to generate that different somehow. I was thinking of using Blender's Sequence editor but don't know if that would work.

Its simply the layer mode of Photoshop, After effects or whatever to change from normal to scree, add or multiply.. I forgot which one actually :D

Thanks for that. I have not done much with Blender's sequence editor but it seems feasible to do this kind of animation with it.

I've seen your flash animation before and it is very well done. However, it's definitely beyond my skills :wink:

Very cool - I think that the site could use a demo like that under the 'features' page :wink:
