Student Bedroom

I decided to model a student bedroom with lots of stuff in it as a modelling exercise. I thought, why not render it with Indigo and make it look super awesome?

Now, this might not be Gallery material because its definitely not perfect. The textures and materials aren't that great, and I would have liked to set a better mood with the lighting. But like I said, it was mainly a modelling exercise.
Also, after I fired up Indigo on Friday night, I locked accidentally my self out of the house, and because everyone else had gone as well I couldn't get back in. By the time I managed to get back inside, it had been rendering for 67 hours. So yeah..

Anyways, I hope you like it. Please tell me what you think.

First of woaowelcome. Many materials, lots of objects etc, good work yuuray.

I think you are well aware about the points that may be worked further, just... watch colour saturation.

Looking for more !

That's really quite good, not far off gallery quality. I would suggest some diffuse transmitter on the cutrians and plant (or some subsurface scattering).

Then render the whole thing 'till it's clear! (maybe you have a computer you could network?)

That is A MESS!
Seems like MY bedroom!

Jokes apart, great render. The messy look gives it a nice atmosphere, and gives you the chance to test loads of things. The image is too much saturated, in my opinion, and you should give the floor material a deeper look (add a specular map, a bump...). The door on the left also needs some detailing to get a more real result. BTW it is a very good starting point! Congrats!

Add some dirt! It's too clean for a student room :)
The empty beers are missing.

Nice work!

Thanks for all the replies and feedback! I plan to educate myself more on 3d modelling, texturing, lighting etc. This was a great little project for me to get excited about it again, and I hope that from here, my work will improve greatly.
