Hi all,
I'm indigo user for a long time but with sketchup/skindigo.
Now I'm about to buy 2 revit 2012 architecture licenses from my colleague who's closing his office (sadly for him).
My current workflow is: import 2d plans/sections from autocad -> building 3d model in sketchup -> export model via skindigo -> render in indigo
I'm hoping to speed up whole process working on 3d model from the beginning now.
Unfortunately current revit plugin supports versions 2014 and above. Is there any way to use current indigo version anyway with revit 2012 (f.e. by installing older exporter and running indigo separately)?
I'll be grateful for any suggestion

Re: revit 2012 architecture + current Indigo
I *think* an old version of the Revit should work, since the plugin is a scene exporter and Indigo 4 is backwards compatible. You might not have more recent features inside Revit, but they'll be available in Indigo standalone after export.
Couldn't you just try a demo?

Re: revit 2012 architecture + current Indigo
thx Oscar
I hope this would work, but want to be sure.
To be more precise:
My first concern is if older exporter (written for Indigo 3) will work with Indigo 4 (it should work with export to .igs file, but what about more direct way?)
The second one is, if there's properly working exporter for revit2012. In this section of forum I can see links for 2011 and 2013 with some issues (according to post). Is there any user of r2012 version / developer who could direct me to proper, stable (and working version of exporter?
As i wrote i'm ABOUT to buy revit. I did not install it yet and don't think there's still somewhere trial for that version (2012).

It should work exporting directly to Indigo 4. I do it all the time with Blendigo 3.8.
Re: revit 2012 architecture + current Indigo
Thank You again.
I believe, I just have to install both revit and exporter and just to see how it works
I have also completely off topic question: is this wheel in Your avatar from volvo amazon? Ventilation holes seem to be right but the wheel cup is more like from vw beetle.

It's from a Porsche 356 replica, indeed based on a beetle.
