Indigo automatic network slave for any logged in user

Hello,
We're (again) attempting to setup a render farm for local renders in our university computer labs.
We've successfully installed the "Indigo Network Client Service" on a windows PC,
however when a different user logs in, the slave is inactive.
Are you able to confirm that the Network Client should work with all/any user logged in to the machine?
What are the triggers for the Network Client?
(the documentation at https://www.indigorenderer.com/document ... atic-slave describes "Network Slave during screensaver", does this need to be a certain screensaver or is this triggered by a system hook?)
The client connects to the master fine and starts working on render jobs when "indigo.exe -n s" is executed.
