Help with finding problem

Post by bubs » Fri Jan 10, 2014 11:02 pm

Hi guys, I am getting the following error code...

A problem occurred with the scene: Scene parsing error: Found unexpected element 'constant'. (In element 'normal_map', around line 197, column 13)

Where can I find what this is in relation to?

Thanks in advance.

if something is "unknown" there is a good chance that your exporter and the Indigo version you try to render with do not match!

Update both to the latest versions and give it another try.
If that not helps we should at least know the 3D program you work with :)

I'm a Skindigo user, and I am running the most up to date everything. ( I always make a point of this)

I opened the .igs file in notepad and found the materials in question, strange thing was that neither of the materials that were causing the issue had Normal maps applied...

Dunno... think I just having a 'buggy' morning  ...

I deleted the materials from the scene and it seems to work OK now.

Hi bubs it might be helpfull to raise the topic in the bugs and request thread, or a specific SU thread.
