It never quite worked for me, and im not even sure its been ported to 2.5 yet :S

There's a bevel modifier in 2.5. I'm not a Blender user, so I am rather unsure whether that's exactly the same thing as a bevel tool. It bevels, but it seems rather clunky to me.

I am keeping an eye on Blender 2.5, though. Looks like it's going places.
