I re-rendered another scene. This time, I made the trees much bigger and closer to the house. Before they are really very far from the house. The location of the vegetation is now similar to the reference images.

This is even better Jeff. Vegetation is now really good (I think because we can't see any too close  )
I really like the greenish-blueish tone of Farnsworth 19H. I think you have to work a little on the marble floor mat now: at the moment it is somehow dull and too homogeneous, in my opinion.

Thank you very much Pibuz. For the marble floor, I am still using the original material on the model and assigned the dull plastic preset on it. It looks like I need to add some bump into it.

Studiouno,
Thanks Studiouno! Nice rendering you got there. I attached the sketchup file of the environment I am using. In order to reduce the file size, the house model was taken out. Since you have the model already, you can just paste it. After opening the file, you can see in the middle an outline where the house should be.

Cheers!

With the trees, much closer to the house, I re-rendered a previous scene.

Studiouno,
You're welcome! You can post them here or you can also start your own WIP thread so we can discuss what needs to be done. That file I shared is the latest one. Images showing that new environment are still being rendered. The scenes I'll be posting shortly are still using the previous environment.

Another batch of re-rendered scenes. I did try to add some bump on the floor but it seems that the value of 0.0001 is to small and there is no noticeable change. C&C's are welcome.

Thanks a lot Tom. For that image, I used the dscs315_1 camera response preset.

Hello Jeff,

A lot of thanks about the environnement. It's amazing. How do you do to make instancing with grass and trees.
When I will have some samples, i will send you.
Sorry for my english, i am french.
