I just downloaded Indigo 2.2 Demo and made a render
I just downloaded Indigo 2.2 Demo and made a render. I am Computer Application Undergraduate Level student. i Modeled it in 3ds max and exported it using MAXIGO. It produced decent result in just 19 minute although it still have noise but from my nightmare experience of attempting other physical renderers in my low end machine i can tell you that its doing ... well... amazing job... THANK YOU TEAM INDIGO...
PS: one thing more:::: > MAXIGO is the best exporting plugin i have ever used... no frustrated attempts cool... smooth job for relatively simpler scene.
The rendered image:::

Re: I just downloaded Indigo 2.2 Demo and made a render-UPDT
Here is my second wip of the same model, if you point out errors and let me know how to solve them , i will be highly obliged, as i'm relly a new player in this field. Help me learn
all comments and critics are welcome.
PS: Can anyone tell me whether Indigo has a feature similar to Mawell's Multilight System which enables us adjusting the intensity and color of the scene lights even after rendering has been completed?
One thing more: Why these Blender Guys have included a Monkey Head in their Mesh Primitives?
Regards
Thanks!

Re: I just downloaded Indigo 2.2 Demo and made a render
Yes, we have a light layer system where each light gets a layer in the final image, which can be colour and brightness adjusted interactively.
BTW, modern computers are about 10-20x faster than a 2.4 GHz Pentium 4, for doing realistic rendering you will want to upgrade it! These days a 64bit quad core system with 4GB of memory is really inexpensive

You should probably leave it to render for a bit longer. I think a dozen of hours will surprise you muchshuvro.d wrote:well I am rendering the same model , this time lights use layered light system and render engine used Metropolis algorithm.
