i'm doing some tests with hair... anyone got any tips for good results?
here's my render so far - it's not great.
basically a blender particle system converted to a mesh - which i then extruded a little, and split into individual pieces (3,500 x 20vert meshes - indigo crashed when trying to parse the whole thing as one mesh).
i guess i didn't extrude enough?
or si there a way that blender can turn a string of vertices into a cylindrical object (ack, vertex count will go up dramatically though ).
