Thanks for your comments eman and Pibuz, glad you like the concept. I do remember some old Mario-style images over here, some guy did a plastic ashtray that looked like taken out of the game somehow, it was cool but no idea where it is.
@PureSpider: Thanks, but I will be going for the 16-bit version!
Will not have time lately though, will be going to Groningen, Netherlands for some vacation!
