Hello ! this is my first wip with Indigo. ATM I'm learning to use it correctly, shaders, nk files and so. I'm also currently testing/combining various solutions for exporting geometries and/or shaders from within Maya, although the best way for shaders now was to copy/paste/edit existing ones :)

I've started modeling some glassery, at the end my plan is to compose a nice realistic scene of a set table, not original but not too ambitious also for my skills.

For this image I've used a prescale of 5, sounds odd or not ? Light source is

I guess this means a default of 6500°K for the sun isn't it ?

Please no hesitations for crits, I mean if you see I'm doing some mistake please don't let me go any further without telling ;)

I have to say I -love- the blue vase/glass. Very cool! I've always been to afraid to try to build more complex glass objects like that. I always stick with smooth surfaces.

Looking forward to see the rest of the scene.

Actually the two vases and the red pot are issued from the single white "glass" in the background, it is my base shape. I made two copies of it and deformed them. It is pretty straight as you can see, but for it's bottom I've been switching between my 3d app and TopMod, wich I'm glad I've disovered it's existence on this forum (thank you koba !).

I'll make an image showing that bottom, there may be a preview tonight ;)

The wine glass is a too perfect surface, I'm going to alter it a bit but it may become quite heavy then...

Again, I want to thank OnoSendai but for a new reason this time: it's been a long time since I had no projects, and because of Indigo I'm still excited with this one. And maybe it'll end with a finished composition... that will be my first, then :o

Just a precision: all these objects you see are fresh ones, created with Indigo in mind. I was more involved in organic modelling before, but I had enough after years of polygons harnessing ! Revolution surfaces are just relaxing :D

I like the plates, very simple but elegant looking. Makes me want to try doing a table scene... Which is bad because I already have an unfinished project I need to work on :wink:
