Thanks :)
Well there is some image maps, blended with some gradients to decide where what it going to appare, and exponent map for the snow of course, and bump map :)
Can be quite usefull

oh ! my!! your images are so simple but so simply convincing.
how long did the water render? on my computer, it is always very long to start being clear so i am very impressed because you post so often interesting images, techniques etc...
in order to fasten my renders, i reduce water refraction i noticed. less realistic but not that shocking.

CTZn: Thanks, hopefully there will be some more renders that will fall in taste :)

djegoo: Thanks :)
I did render 3 images at the same time(all the ones with water) for 9 hours, but it didnt need to render that long ;)

Nick: Thanks ;)

zeitmeister: Glad you liked it ;) I might render it again with some motion blur on ;)

Fused: Thanks, and i think i forgott to bevel the rim actualy, so you might not want to touch the rim when drinking :P

Wow, very nice render!
some crits:
* Hanging power line and broken building in center/back need more polies.
* Metal panels on ground need a dirtier material
* ground texture tiles a bit behind metal panels.

Nice stuff!

Great start!
I agree with all that ono said and I have a few things to add.
-I didn't immediately make out what was laying in the middle on the ground. If they are metal they should be roughened up and maybe rusty.
-The brick wall on the left looks a bit flat compared to the rock walls on the right (you can also see the brick texture repeat).
-One of the lines looks like it runs straight into a wall, while the others don't. It just looks out of place to me (kinda of nitpicky, but it's just something I noticed)

Are the hanging clothes in the background modeled or textures? Either way, they look pretty good.

Other than that it's looking good :D
