Render Book(Stromberg)
Re: Render Book(Stromberg)
I dont think 500 k poly's is alot
But what can i say, i love smoothing and lots of polys

Re: Render Book(Stromberg)
I'm like that too ! Why bother having quasi smooth surfaces when they are meant to be smooth !?
I'm fine as long as Indigo doesn't hit the system limit. That's about 8 millions poly here, on my xp32 2GB system, using no vRAM in general. Usually I'm not trying to get triangles smaller than 0.7 pixels.
Pretty nice stromberg, though you've got a blame for tying everything parallel Please get non-surfaces-of-revolution off the scene axis !

CTZn: One more evidence that ram shouldnt be my problem
Glad you like the scene
Here is a test i did, remember i am not any good at sculpting, but i am trying to, so if i ever get good, there will be more organic renders here aswell
This is mostly to test a clay material i made, i think i'm going to make a completly new one

I have a long way to go yet tough, for modeling i use maya and zbrush, and Cinema4D(Cindigo) to setup the scene for indigo
