What happends if i lower the bump map exponent?
Bump slope will be straightened, and even incurved if < 1.

Precisely, say we have a bump map (not slope) wich is a linear ramp fading from black to white; the resulting slope will be inclined but straight for 1, incurved below and bumpy above.

Definitly without. The lamp does look kinda cool, but also looks like a show-off-effect. Without it I immediately feel very relaxed looking at the picture...

without seems better... maybe the glass of the lampshade could be tinted slightly orange or a low exponent glossy t. material

What did you think about the lastest render ZomB? :)
Going to a school next year where they use maya, and it would be dumb of me to pay 100.000 nok for a introduction in maya

Very nice render! And even better with the gamma correction. I like your renderbook Stromberg, it is nice to see how everything is developing.

One minor thing: Are you using a "real world scale"? For some reason the table looks a little like a miniature...

Thanks for the comments :)
Glad you like my renderbook, this way i dont have to make new topics all the time, and it's easy to keep track of what i have done ;)
And i dont really know if it's realworld scale.. :P
But i guess it's not, always had trouble with cinema4D units cause they seams like they are only there for fun..
