We need this shader incorporated into the exporters/indigo somehow, it is just to damn awesome to be able to create unbiased skies. Something like, captured skies simulations that we can run for ourselves if needed, but with some presets already there!
Well done, CTZn...sadly, I would have to render it for a long time to get pleasing image, but will try it out soon.

thank you!
works fine with native indigo renderer.
tried to unpack and to load only the material in cindigo/cinema4d but failed to load.
any suggestions?

perfahl: I have on Cindigo skills, did you try loading both packed and unpacked versions, depending on the format you choose for saving ? Hopefully someone will be able to help here !
the squirrel: well I guess I should upload the simplified clouds shader to the matDB, with uniform scattering to start with. I would welcome better shaders than mines, for the record !

for the record, ths is where it all started with canyons. I fed in U and V to a fractal noise its duplicate, and got a great base for a concrete. However it only looked good when discretised by texture sampling, in close range the native signal was typical and a known fractal rig in visual terms. However, it did bear a twist...
PS: I'd have posted the relevant picture if google wasn't attempting to abuse my need for a converting tool. me hacker bleh.
edit: see proper image below

here's the PIC after a sattelite-free conversion, with no spoiled personal contacts
as a matter of fact I started to reproduce it using ISL, all textures below being baked Maya procedurals.

Ok people my PC is online again, after one year and three months roughly.
What this means is that I'll be more active than I have been lately, and more responsive for sure.
Also, I - LOL - dusted my fans XD

Oh well, as it turns out my last render is exactly one month old, a porting of that Maya proceduals based concrete to ISL.
I've just moved into a new place and have been too busy with unrelated things meanwhile... and in general, more busy with IRL stuff for my own sanity

CTZn, please teach us the ISL. We need it! That looks simply amazing!

Well I am to build personal ressources before I can give back, I meant the sanity thing
So I wish I could but I need my time for my own or I may break down again at some point; I'm working against this currently.
What I will pobably be doing on the mid term is to review all my material drafts and upload the polished then after to the MatDB so everyone can enjoy them.
Synthesis was an early choice for me: at 4, I found myself with two vinyl discs in my hands: The Beatles ("Yellow Submarine") and Vangelis (edit: it was "Spiral". I'm born in 1977
http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=7545). You can guess my choice, and I did never look back !

So what you Indigo people can is to review my pecedent works and push the materials you want to see out in the first place, up to three per person.
