WIPs: CTZn
Re: WIPs: CTZn
HI all.
An example of that wonderful shader.
3000 s/pixel 115 hours of render on an i3.
Thanks CTZn is a great success. Hope for further progresses in your work!!

Beautiful!
Re: WIPs: CTZn
Muchissimas gracias yonosoy, that's the kind of reward I'm looking for: actual use of my work. Thanks a lot !yonosoy wrote:An example of that wonderful shader.

Re: WIPs: CTZn
This should be a regular feature!
Loooks amazing.

Re: WIPs: CTZn
very cool yonosoy, thanks. I am to upload this material very soon to the matDB with an uniform phase function.

Re: WIPs: CTZn
I'm willing to contribute with a few bushes, trees and grasses geometries with SU presets in mind. I will not provide bitmap textures tho, only ISL based materials when available. Which is the best way for sharing, what's the package specs for presets ?
edit: leaf geometry is expected to be rectangular, right ? In the image below, the blade shape is from a plane with both ends squizzed, no clipping used.
Attached the image mentioned above, this is the early steps of a procedural double sided thin material.

Re: WIPs: CTZn
Beautiful image CTZn!
There will be some kind of standard format I think for scattering presets, something similar to .pigm.
Leaves are usually modeled as quads with alpha mapped textures, it varies though.

Re: WIPs: CTZn
Looks nice, I'm thinking the tree trunk could use a bump/disp map.
Re: WIPs: CTZn
Acknowledged Ono thanks, I may provide you with a mesh meanwhile.
Displacement would be preferred, but it's tricky depending on the trunk/branch/twig diameter. That will be on the works though.

Awesome render, I just miss those mountains you used before.yonosoy wrote:Another example of the clouds shader.

Re: WIPs: CTZn
Thanks Oscar. Mountains and lakes in a future
.
There are a lot of aspècts to explore still (CTZn is in it with scattrer presets and prtocedural approaches , good luck for you ! )

Re: WIPs: CTZn
yeah well I'm in and out, it would be fair from me to share my awesome terrain shader
It is meant as a tribute to Perlin and Indigo's Winter project at once, no good reasons to keep to myself.
