Hi !

i'm coming back with an another WIP in Skindigo !
here is a little studio of cinema, improvised in a old factory...
All the texture haven't been pasted.. and the model will be improved too.
Note : all the elements ( beams, lights, windows, etc. ) are default sketchup elements... it was the purpose of this work.
re note : there is a post-prod in photoshop

Hi CTZn: I think Namiro meant "standard sketchup components" (the ones you find in the components folder by default, no 3d warehouse work  )

Hi Namiro! Quite interesting work! And the Photoshop postpro really rocks! Where did you find the brick texture? I've always had some problems finding a good one.. :?

Yes Pibuz, you're right.

Thank you. The brick texture is in the default sketchup materials ! ( i have the version 6 )

Do you have another tips for this picture ?

Nein: i really think it is a good wip of yours! I just want to see what you'll lead this to..

If you want to me picky, but just if you ASK me (:D), I'd say that it's very hard to find a so polished metal for the strucrures, in old factories' outfits  . It usually is very dark, and sometimes even rusty, though in some parts it still conserves some reflective properties..
Maybe that is the part I'd work on more..

That's all!

...surprised? :D

éhéh...
not surprised.. but agree !
i have made a test with rusty metal.. but, it was not nice..
maybe a touch in photoshop can made the metal more.... used by the time.

...BTW the new structure can be something they've added just to help sustaining the old roof slabs, for safety's sake
So it's something understandable, in my opinion..

yes, and the link between the polished metal of the structure and of the cinema's elements is quite interesting.

That's a chance, until now I had the impression you could not read them.

edit: ok i'm de-dramatizing on that topic now :/

edit 2: go on with this one, "eclair" inspired ?

hi all
Here are my comments for your renders
i like the scene and the way you set the view
my only critic is about the metallic structure on the letf and right side, they look too shiny to me, almost like chrome? we can see the brick texture reflect in it? unless you chose it like that.
i like the white ambiance is well done : not blue, not green, not yellow, really white! I am impressed. really neutral!

i have a question : are the halo effects on the righ part of the image directly from indigo? due to aperture diffraction or something??
