Bedroom
Bedroom
Hey everybody,
it's holidays now and after 2 weeks of doing nothing at all, except of being sad because my ex-gf, I decided to spent my last free week on a new project in Indigo. It's going to be a bedroom designed by BoDesign. I really like their designs and so I thought it would be nice to have a go on one.
I chose the following - http://www.boconcept.de/default.aspx?id ... ageID=3492
I think it's not thaaaat challenging, but it's months since my last project so...
Current worktime is about 3 hours (including creating textures etc.), and hopefully I can finish it tomorrow.

i think the bed would be a bit inconfortable for the back, besides i would like to see it a little more "shaped" you know what i mean, maybe some curves somewhere or arbritrary shapes...

Thanks for sharing comments and critics. New version is on the way and will cook the next few hours.
@Borgleader
The carpet is intended to be this "fluffy" or did I exaggerate even this aspect?
@BbB
The basket is modelled by hand. First created a rail-spline with circle profile, turned it little bit facing down the floor, duplicated it several times, and then gave all the spline points a minimal randomness in their position to create a more natural look. Then a few cuts with the knife and deleting sticking out polys, then doing the same thing for the crossbraces, creating a bottom, et voilá. Excuses for my bad language and my equal bad modelling techniques.
@All blanket/duvet critics
It's a shame. This is already a version out of a cloth simulation, but its kind of tricky to get good results with Clothilde. But I'll have another shot on this. Promised.
