Well, here is my first attempt at an indoor scene.

There a re a lot of issues with it.. Black spots all over.,,

Well that is VERY good for a first attempt. I'm likin' it. But one thing stands out... The counter corners.

yeah, and is the wall looks kind of weird, maybe the bump set too high? looks good for a first attempt.

The sink is black and so is part of the wall? What would you recommend for fixing this?

Is the sink supposed to be green as well?

Is that what you want it to be? I think as it is everything is way too reflective and it is hard to tell what the actual surface is and what the reflection is.

Just need some tweaking of the reflectivity.

Would it be possible to enlight the room by making the walls transparent?

you could, or you could add emiting planes or something. Although I'm not really a lighting expert.

Hmm, is it the lighting or the whole in the sink looks odd? (and a bit too big?)

looks like the whole in the sink is too big and the faucet handles.


as far as lighting goes, just put a ceiling light in there and let it render for awhile. than you can start tweaking things.

(and you don't need to double post all over the place)

Let it render for 3 hours.

Too dark? Should I change the emitter to a more neutral color like white?

Hey ! Maybe not white, but not that blue ! However that could just be a matter of setting a proper camera white point ... oh wait, highlights are white, so must be the light source
