Brahma Beer bottle

Post by surreal » Wed Oct 11, 2006 5:08 pm

Just started working on this tonight, only let it render for about 5 minutes
Still got some things to add, like triming around the bottom at the back so it's not such a harsh change, and maybe try some foam at the top of the beer.
Also some details need to be added on the bottle still.
Also thinking of changing floor and wall textures, but thats tommorow.

C&C welcome! :D

Update
Fixed textures, fixed DOF (scene scale was off)
Still need to add some stuff to the bottle, and fix the color of the Beer.

maybe the scale is right now but it didn't look right.
In the first pic i would guess the bottle is ~25cm, in second i would guess it's 1m :?
I don't know how you fixed the DOF but i guess you made the scene bigger till the blurriness was gone.
If yes - don't do that, if you want the bottle in focus you have to edit the focus distance.
(imo the background should be a bit blurry)
What programm did you use to export your scene to indigo?
I'm sure here are people who would explain you how to set up the focus distance
within your programm. (i could only explain you the way in C4D).
Futhermore i think the proportion between the bootle and the scene, and between the bottle and
the ground-texture isn't right.
Otherwise really good so please keep it up!! :P

Half of my post was guessing so i hope you don't mind if i were wrong.

BTW: where are you from? never heard of Brahma
