+1 to that.

Gallery should be cleaned up a bit, in my opinion.

Here is a old scene i did a while ago rendered overnight with the trial version .... somehow the image appears a lot darker in PS than in the Indigo GUI.

EDIT: Bumpmap on the Wall seems to be Inverted ...

that's due to your photoshop color settings. assign your monitor's rgb profile to it, and you should see a big difference. personally I think it would be a good idea to include better color management within Indigo - at least allowing embedded profiles would be great.

I think some of you guys have a very weird definition of "Simple Rendering" :P

Of late, this thread ought to be split/renamed to "Awesome Renderings Thread" IMO :)

Finally complete... wasn't simple for me, but should fit this thread based on the awesome work otherwise posted.

I think a tree is missing beside the car (left back wheel)

Hi guys!
..to reply to Dougal: I think one of the reasons why we put so many works in here is that we don't know if we'll be able to work on some of those some more.. So opening a whole new thread to post one image would sound like a waste of space.

At least, this is MY reason

BTW, this was NOT simple, but nonetheless done in very short time.

Tell me what you guys think!
All done in SketchUp, everything you see is modeled, excepted the background sky, added in postpro.

Love the style of your image, I would nearly say too clean. But I love it this way so..

Currently experimenting with grass. Attached are 2 renders, the first test render I made (which was utterly bad to say the least) and the last render I made. Still some room for improvement I guess, so any advice or comments are welcome!

Thanks dcm!

Thanks Pibuz! Haha, I have to admit that I agree with dcm. It's just not there "yet", I just don't know what..
I use SketchUp, just like you, ofcourse I don't mind. I could send you the model if you want me to ;)

Just made use of instancing of clipmaps. Grass/clipmap model is from biebel (also known as Kwistenbiebel on many forums). You can find it in the 3D Warehouse.

I've used the Fur plugin to scatter the instances on a small field I made using the sandbox tools. I scattered a total of 3 different instances. A low one with a brownish color and 2 tall ones differentiated by dark and light green.

EDIT: Posted too quickly, message was unfinished..

EDIT 2: Added some additional info.
