Nice carmat, a bit blurry but great.

This model is not made by me, I've found on the web. Rendertime 30 minutes with mlt and bidir.

@Borgleader:
That holographic fence reminds me of a scene in Mass Effect 2 (very nice game btw) :)
You could try to make it appear somewhat blurry and jittering, or add a burn effect.

Hehe yeah I've been replaying that lately (and KOTOR) it's a really simple scene I cooked up in maybe 20 min. I wanted to see if my idea was viable. I'll keep tinkering with the holographic part of the fence to really get what i want. I thought of adding some motion blur on it as if the text was moving sideways...but I have no clue how.

Was the scene you were thinking about on Illium when you have to go find Samara? (right near the police station thing)

Model not by me, i just threw a few materials on it.

Modeled by "theglenster", http://www.glenjohnson.de/ .

You can get the model from here: http://img.i7m.de/show/5ul6p.zip
He also made this amazing BMW Isetta: http://img.i7m.de/show/zmu4x.zip

Both models are stunningly detailed! (but they are c4d files)

(sorry for huge pngs, heh)

Here is a robot I was playing around with. His name is "Manny" (he is manual). He has a wind up key that keeps him going. Thoughts?

Depth of field is a great way to hide all the normal smoothing issues/overlapping faces that I haven't fixed yet! :mrgreen:
I'll have to turn down the saturation of some of the colors (even though I used the RGB values from the semi-official chart).

@Schosch

Just saw this on /3/ :lol:

Looks nice, though the DOF does seem a little too strong.
