(For some odd reason it reminded me of that level in a "chalet" type place in a mountainy terrain... my brain is weird like that don't mind it) No but seriously nice scene

Nice one Tom... I only would add around 666% more trees for some nice dense forest, and the house on a nice glade... but this is maybe not wanted here

Very nice scene, my only crit is that there should be more variations and randomness in the grass.

Wonderful renders guys. I really like the overall feeling in Godzilla's image, and the sense of peace in the one by Tom. I just wanted to drop here a small unsignificant image I made: I was really
about the lighting. This is simple EXR.
Only postproduction used is a little downscaling (1200 to 900) and png to jpeg conversion.

Pibuz- cool test, On your blog is very good tutorial about exit portals, Is very useful but why just in It ?
Maybe can you translate because there is a lot of interesting information

I'm working hard on SkIndigo tutorials for the Indigo-Italia community at the moment. Until now, I've written only two, though....
The first one is about "lighting up a scene with SkIndigo" in general; the second one is the one you spotted about "Exit portals". The second one also fits in the official Indigo tutorials' template, kindly provided by Soup.
Translating the tuts is a very time-consuming task, and at the moment I just wanted to give the SkIndigo
italian users some good documentation, for Indigo desn't seem to be very well-documented, and it might appear sometimes obscure. That's my attempt to get involved a new mass of SkIndigo users, on the italian ground at least.

@Godzilla and Tom: Suvakas is right, this place is too simple for your images. I even like Tom's grass. And it doesn't need more trees, I imagine a big lake in the background behind the hill, so it really works for me.
I also tested Dougals new particle export thingie in the latest blendigo, but forgot to really randomize the size/starting velocity. So it looks way to "cut". Also not green enough, but it is an evening shot anyways.
I used 3 grass objects, which blender instanced 3.000.000 times. And clover and a blossom.
How can I make the grass look better apart from varying the length?

EDIT 3: Updated the image, now it's in the day. Finally getting what I wanted...
