Simple Renderings Thread
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
@ Polinalkrimizei : Thanks a lot! I might be using the first image with overcast sky at dusk for my final exterior shot. For the interior, I have not decided yet if I will go for an evening or daytime setting. But if I go into trouble rendering the exterior at 3636 x 2657 size, I might go for the last image with a sun drenched interior. It renders quickly.
@ fenerolina : Thank you very much! Having some variations on the vegetation around the house was the item I was not able to resolve since I joined the challenge. To have color variations of an instanced object will be very helpful for this kind of scene.
@ hcpiter : That glass dragon looks so real!

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Hmmm ... Looks like caramel. I love this dragon!
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
It really reminds me of orange flavored jolly ranchers for some reason.. Great render though! I need to get back to using indigo..
EDIT : if you are not from the us, jolly ranchers are a type of hard candy.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Those look really nice neo0, cool tests
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Thanks for comments
Godzilla is nice but leafs I think too dark. Diffraction effect from sun is from post or in indigo ? Looks nice.
neo0. Nice colors !

First render post!
I was mucking about trying to replicate some really nice greenstone I saw. It's not quite accurate but best thing I've rendered so far I think

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
I was playing with Studio-lightning, SSS and Glass. It's nothing special, still learning SSS and lightning
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
It is already good, but to have a realistic result you shoud model the liquid intersecting the glass. There are some hints about this in the last pages of the Indigo manual. I think..

Another test with trees and grass. The grass obviously needs some tweaking, but I'm pretty happy with where this is headed for my environment in the Evermotion Visualization Challenge
