Neither can I EC20, Maya user here.

Added sphere primitive support to MtI, lost IES meanwhile :D Then forgot to remove hspp limit of 100, and finally downscaled /2

Hi guys! Just a rapid work, testing a 3D grass patch I found in the warehouse :)

Whole model made in sketchUp6, rendered in 4/5 hours with SkIndigo1.0.8 stable.

Little postprocessing with the background and lighting adjustments.

Looks very symetrical, apart from that... nice!

Doesn't SU support some random object placement?

indeed, yes..
But the grass patch is 30cmX30cm: random-placing it would be a nightmare!

Now, the grass patch is adjusted into a 1.3x1.3m block (each 30x30cm grass square is differently rotated from the next ones), instanced around. Then, the 1.3x1.3m instanced squares are grouped together, and then spread around..

Still too repetitive, i know...

Room for improvements!

Oh, the whole scene took only 72MB of RAM during the rendering..
