Same old 3dsmax Greeble plugin. I use it to generate quick geometry because I have always preferred rendering over modeling, the first one is ivy+greeble.Pibuz wrote:ME TOO! SUPERCOOL!

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Hi. First test in Indigo time ago (sorry, not finished at all).
It's because of precedence... to model trough precedence concept. In this case the inside spheres are vacuum.
Actually a 0 blend of a diffuse, phong,...(non delta materials?) with a precedencial material works in some circunmstances, but the way is that all materials could have a precedence parameter.
To return air medium, or atmosphere medium or another material inside a solid body, ...non planar sections in movement (sections of bodies over bodies, maybe boolean precedence requirements, don.t remember now), ... not only for fun.
In this case no problem because amatist and diamond have mediums!! Beautiful fractals, sadly too small.
Oh! The requirement of "hang" the pictures in a server was forgotten, sorry, for next time.

Not able to find the scene for this take; sharing this remasterd one.
EDIT: Sorry another mistake (first chance in internet... and so). Better setup.
And this funny things; because of problems in the exportation formats from houdini to other plataforms this old setup is bad scaled.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Thank you Headroom!
Nice lenses coty!
Here is some more chesse
BTW, does anyone have some advice about how to handle exponent maps on a sss
material, since there aren't any. But there are quite a lot of options via mixing
materials. Which option would be the best?
Thx!

Not Only Specular material can use SSS, but also the Glossy material!aleksandera wrote:BTW, does anyone have some advice about how to handle exponent maps on a sss

The glossy material can use exponent maps
