How did you do the skull?
Copied the head and scaled it down, trying to give it even space all around. then cut of the ears and nose and dug out some eye sockets. Made it a dark red diffuse. The SSS takes a long time to converge with this material, any tips to speed it up?
Make sure that the skull is a well closed volume in order not to waste sss samples within.

I would make it a light, yellowish grey because below the dermis is the superficial fascia. I'm not sure that assigning the skull a phong material would render faster but it could be more accurate.

Also, instead of scaling the modified face (ie skull), it can simply be displaced inwards for 2-3 mm, that would be consistent.

Best head render so far Fakeshamus !

The Chair was designed by a Italian Architect friend of me, so no surprise you like it ;)
The parsley was taken from here: http://archive3d.net/?a=download&id=d869912c

I retextured the Box and would like to release it for public usage, but I have problems exporting to OBJ or COLLADA and keep the UV mapping working :/
atm I only can provide PIGS and C4D format...

How come you can't keep the UV mapping with an OBJ export? That's so strange!

Because C4D's OBJ module is crap.

because I mapped the meshes using simple plane mapping and multiple selections for the sides etc.
Seems that C4D sucks in converting that into another file format :/

I have the same result for FBX, 3DS and whatever...

No, have to delete the original UV-Tag and create a new one.
That works in many cases; otherwise you have to really unwrap the box... but that shouldn't be too hard.
Cheers, David

You can convert it to uv maps... you pic the texture tag and then on object manager there a file menu where you can generate the uvmap. I don't know if it solves anything. you can always export through octane exporter... :P

OK, I get it to work... kind of.
the UVs for the OBJ file are OK, but some edges lost the mapping so aren't seamless anymore, but only a few :)
C4D file and pigs are included too!

Go here to grab the free box:
http://arthur-staschyk.de/privat_work.html#obstkiste_3d

P.S. If some C4D user maybe has a way to create a fully mapped OBJ, Collada or whatever file out of the C4D file, please send it to me. Maybe R14 is capable of it without much hassle...
