Simple Renderings Thread
1.1.18, 15mn render, no post, resolution/2 !
Leafs are a diffuse/null blend (no step_blend), Maya pfx rulez... full Indigo displacement on a 4 verts plane resulting in 2.15M polys (max:12, pixel_thre:1.9, err:0).
The scene is still a wip but I could not resist...
I'll update stoneWall01 material soonish (even better than what you see yeah)

This is far from realistic, but it suits to this thread better than CTZn's master piece.
Just tested Indigo displacement and was quite surprised how well it works inside Blend material now.
Here's a box with 2 different displacement "layers" (using one larger and one smaller checker texture).
(left one is the initial model in Max)

Shall we trust the shoes or the pen to figure out the inhabitant ? Both rendres are nice Karim !
Suv: your test is encouraging, the isl translation of the stone wall would certainly use blended displacements !
Zeitmeister: If your question was adressed to me I'm exposing the IGS code in the displacement test thread now.
Pibuz: under these circumstances I'd say it's rather the conjunction of Maya and Indigo than just me, thanks though !
