Re: Simple Renderings Thread
lol I do usually render on my machine, getting a bit old now though. The Blitz has been pretty awesome, if I did work that actually paid I would probably use it a lot more, or build my own farm

Heh, they're all from here http://www.openfootage.net/?cat=15Pibuz wrote:Your envmaps are actually GREAT! Where did you get them?
Was only testing the maps really, the car and wall just for something to look at. Car model is a bit off here and there (it has a crinkle on the wheel arch) and didn't bother with any exciting angles or dof, but might have a little play.
And Enslaver, those beach things look f*****g awesome!
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
@dcm & ENSLAVER , very nice images!
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Random tests can be more interesting then the 1001th interior render

Gotta agree, I often find peoples random tests of strange stuff more interesting than yet another gloriously rendered architectural interior full of shiny white furniture. I mean nothing inherently wrong with those, they look great, but its nice to have some variety.
Yet another BMW, this time with some pointless lights! Why? No idea. Just playing around.

God, I could do these all day just mucking with the lighting! I love Indigo (and environment maps)
I'll stop now anyway, not like I'm adding anything new is it.

Hi Bosseye, a very nice lighting. Your picture is always better. But the carpaint you have to work a little.Bosseye wrote:God, I could do these all day just mucking with the lighting! I love Indigo (and environment maps)

Here is a reference picture. Maybe it helps a bit.

Hey thats interesting I'm using the Indigo Carpaint material though - perhaps it looks less shiny as my lights are I have less strong 'point light' sources in my scene.....I'll have another play with the lighting I reckon.

A simple rendering of Möbius strip.
Moral of the story: glossy reflections of glossy reflections of caustics takes awful long time to render...

I've been playing with blender for a while but never really worked on a real project. This is my first real project, very new with Indigo and somewhat new with UVmapping.
