Simple Renderings Thread
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
That first donut is awesome suvakas. I really fell like I could just reach into the screen and grab it. Something about that image is just very very real.

Hey Suv! Brilliant work!
You really have to prepare a multiple UVmapping tutorial for Maxigo, do you?

Thanks guys !
@WytRaven
That's just a nature of Indigo to produce real and life-like images. I only pressed the render button.
@Pibuz
Multiple UV channels are working exactly like you would use them with the native Max renderer. So there actually are tutorials already out there - starting from the Max manual for example. Just add another UVW map modifier and use a different channel number for it (and same number for the texture map) and that's it. For the donuts the main shaders are on UV channel 1 and logo is on channel 2.

Heh, thanks.
It's made with the new scattering modifier for Maxigo. I want to release it with the next Maxigo version and I'm currently integrating and testing it. Very experimental though.
There are 35 000 trees total, each has it's own color and the exporting time for the whole scene was a bit over 50 secs.

The current Maxigo is pretty much obsolete. So I think there are no valid tuts for it. I'm planning to do some video tutorials for the next version.Pibuz wrote: Little offtopic: where can i find a few tutorials of Maxigo?
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
35 000 trees, that would be a challenge to grow out in the garden
Great work tough

Thank you Suv! Excellent!
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
looks great suv... good Job!
Hope to see something like this in Cindigo someday too
Since this is just a quick test, I know here, are my 0.02$ about the images
But for the water some Indgo noise would be maybe better to prevent tiling... also the color distribution feels a little to soft.... a (second) noise modifier would help here too

The Point about suv's work here is to control the color of a big "carpet" of instanced objects (clor, count and maybe more actually!) see this thread for more images...
C4D has such controls too (for the Hair Plugin mostly used), but its not usable for indigo output atm...
Anyway, no pushing fused
