The traced aperture diffraction still exists ?

edit: no I checked back and it's history sadly, both settings lead to pp ad. Is this correct ? Any chance to have traced AD back, knowing that it is faster with bidir as Zom-B told ?

edit2: screw what I said. Ah, Glare, was that unfair  So this is it, people let me stand uncorrected, very well. I'm sulking :P

The point is that traced diffraction is not supported by the GPU. I'm upset because the conditional declaration to trig it was changed silently :?

High poly mesh for baking normals, nothing fancy :)

Looks nice, the cylinder on the top might be a bit to sharp edged.
It is very important in highpoly models that the normal can pick up the details, so try and bevel a bit more that usual.
I made a little example for you since I got carried away ;)

From the reference I got the top cylinder is supposed to be sharp edged :) But I did bevel the top ring!

Hopefully making a decent texture won't be too hard :(

I might send you a PM or if you could start a topic, since I don't want to clutter up this one xD

Just something quick I'm playing with (a little cliche I know). I reckon it needs something more in the foreground, some more rusty stuff or some broken concrete/bricks. Not sure what though!

And thanks to the material picker in Indigo 3.0 you have no idea how many times I changed the car colour. Not convinced orange was the best choice now either....and now I look, the metal panel stuck in the ground at the back of the car is a little too straight edged, needs to be more broken up.

Nice one, bosseye! I like the "twilight"-look a lot. but I think the headlights need to be more powerful, they show no effect on the ground.

Also: awesome renders, ritter, the worn metal is really convincing, and stromberg, nice details and weldseams!

His name is Blue and he is the mascot of my recent website project. He is going to act in a lot of scenes, so we don't need much text. Icons would work, too!

In one of the scenes he is eating pizza, so this is "pizza à la indigo" :D (texture from wikipedia)

:)

It is actually disappointingly simple: the texture (+bump + spec) and the perspective are doing all the magic here, the model is very simple. As the texture is just projected from top view, other perspectives won't really work. Lighting comes from a HDR map. Made me quite hungry yesterday to work that pizza out!

Also attached the finished scene, the topic is "the perfect evening"...
